Choosing a breed of dog to suit you will be determined by your own personal preferences to a large extent. Also, you will have to consider how much time, money, and effort you are willing to dedicate to the dog.

Larger breeds will of course be more expensive to feed, they will require a larger sized yard to run around in, and often require more exercise than smaller breeds of dogs.

Dogs come in all shapes and sizes. Some have long fur that requires grooming on a daily basis, while others have short fur that you never have to brush. People with allergies will want to have a dog that has hair, for example a bijon frieze.
